The Business Development/ role is responsible for the acquisition, development, and maintenance of relationships with commercial clients, and high-net-worth individuals. Acquire client relationships through both internal referrals and external prospecting to generate
expanded relationships. To achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability, this position is expected to stay abreast of current products, policies, technology, industry trends and pricing.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to generate new deposits and Treasury management clients. Deepen the client relationship through a variety of proactive
    sales and service activities. Manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing. Positions Craft Bank
    solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Partner with Bank senior management and bank directors to identify leads, set up calls and meet with potential customers.
  • Comfortable with identifying, and actively pursue leads to bring in business.
  • Comfortable with being out in the community actively prospecting for business.
  • Conduct sales presentations, negotiate pricing, and provide cost analysis.
  • Complete necessary documentation, implementation on bank systems, and customer setup of deposit accounts and Treasury Management products and service.
  • Provides stellar customer service through listening to customers, anticipating their needs, and recommending financial services.
  • Respond professionally and accurately to customer service inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Develop commercial relationships and Affluent and HNW client relationships through targeted prospecting, external networking, and internal referrals.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with focus on Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Work Experience: Typically requires 5+ years of sales and related experience in banking, sales, and client management.

The Lending Assistant supports the lending team by performing administrative assignments in the commercial lending department. The Lending Assistant is responsible for providing superior quality service both within the Department and externally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Responsible for supporting the Bank’s commercial lenders with all administrative aspects of the commercial loan process.
      • Assists with pre-closing, closing and post-closing tasks and insures loans are processed in accordance with the Bank’s policy and regulatory guidelines as applicable. 
      • Assists with the collection of documentation and processing of commercial loans.
      • Utilizes various checklists to prepare loan files according to established procedures. 
      • Communicates with lending team on all discrepancies and necessary legal documents not yet obtained. 
      • Organizes loans for customer signature and loan operations.
      • Contacts customers or third parties to request insurance documents, tax returns, and other loan-related documents. 
      • Inspects loan files to determine whether all required documents are current and makes relevant notes on work in progress.  
      • Assists with funding loans and pays any related filing fees according to established procedures.
      • Communicates with customers and vendors as directed by lenders.
      • Address client issues and assist in researching and resolving issues.
      • Processes loan renewals and paperwork for paid loans as instructed by lender and according to approved policies and procedures. 
      • Responsible for organization of loan files and general upkeep of filing room. 
      • Provides administrative support to lending department.
      • Conduct all activities in compliance with bank policies and all regulatory guidelines including BSA, OFAC, Fraud Prevention, and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
      • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; College degree or additional coursework in banking, finance or lending is a plus.
  • Work Experience: At least two years of prior bank, lending or administrative experience preferred.
  • Candidates must reside in Metro Atlanta and must have experience working in a bank performing loan operations or loan closings.

Commercial Loan Operations Administrator will prepare loan documents and proofread for corrections; Handle confidential files and records of the bank; Prepare all entries to book loans; Reconcile loan GL accounts; Handle all appropriate imaging of documents; Help monitor and maintain loan exceptions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Prepares commercial loan documents, files and correspondence.
      • Prepares all the necessary entries to book loans including loan proceeds checks
      • Assists loan customers on an as needed basis with their inquiries and concerns
      • Responsible for keeping records and for preparing master note draws, construction lines of cr of credit and other business-related lines of credit
      • Determines loan documentation and compliance documents needed for loans
      • Creating, tracking, following up on and removing exceptions (missing or incorrect documents)
      • Posting payments, advances and file maintenance to the core system
      • Imaging all necessary loan documents and follow-up items
      • Reconcile loan GL accounts
      • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education:   Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4 year college or university preferred – or 4 or more years of equivalent work experience
  • Work Experience:   2+ years of Commercial Loan Processing experience in a financial institution or other relevant experience
  • Candidates must reside in Metro Atlanta and must have experience working in a bank performing loan operations or loan closings.

  • Knowledge of Jack Henry (Silverlake, Xperience) preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must

  • SBA and/or Conventional loan experience acceptable
  • Familiar with reading and understanding monthly reports (past dues, non-accrual/SBA 1502)
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite

The Commercial Lending Officer is responsible for maintaining, developing, and managing a
commercial and SBA loan portfolio and promoting the Bank’s products and services in the
community. The Lender is responsible for maintaining their business relationships with current and

  • Identify and establish new referral sources through a variety of networking, sales and marketing efforts.
  • Manage individual pipeline to maximize relationship between the Bank and the customer by delivering providing first class customer service.

  • Work with borrowers to resolve questions regarding loan applications and financial information provided by the customer.
  • Ensure that loan document files are complete, accurate and adhere to Bank policy.
  • Partner with the Craft Bank team members to do the following:
    • Monitor portfolio and collateral for potential deterioration in credits and act proactively
      to identify and resolve issues.
    • Address exceptions, past dues, and maturities prior to or as they occur. Work to resolve any issues
    • Collect SBA specific documentation to assist in gaining SBA approval
    • Identify and document potential problems with a relationship or exceptions as they occur.
    • Manage portfolio exceptions and resolve any past payments, past due information requests and
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines including BSA, OFAC, Fraud Prevention, Anti-Money
    • Laundering regulations and any other related regulations.
    • Complete all required training sessions related to these regulations.
